Turn up ten minutes early, speak to a coach and watch or join in — nobody is put in a ring on day one.
What to bring
Trainers, shorts or joggers, a t-shirt and a water bottle. Wraps and gloves can usually be borrowed at first.
A typical beginner session
Skipping, shadow boxing, bag work and basic footwork. No sparring for beginners.
